Railway track research has reached a turning point. Using calculations and tests, SNCF Research and its partners have now forged the basic building blocks for the complete model that rail network owner RFF needs to efficiently manage maintenance and investment. Meanwhile, SNCF Engineering is doing full-scale tests of innovative construction techniques.
